Vehicle-specific LTEC steering wheel hub LTEC545A, listed for BMW E36 airbag-equipped models. Build your cockpit around the correct steering-column adapter.
Product overview
The LTEC LTEC545A connects an aftermarket steering wheel to the vehicle's steering column. The supplier lists this reference for BMW E36 airbag-equipped models. Choosing the correct hub is an essential part of a steering-wheel installation: a similar vehicle name alone does not confirm the correct spline, mounting depth or column equipment. Match this specific part number to your vehicle before ordering. The hub is intended for popular six-hole sport steering wheels, including suitable LTEC, OMP and Sparco models. Confirm the bolt-circle dimensions of your particular wheel and any spacer or quick release before assembly.

Fit & installation
Check the vehicle's production date, steering-column spline, original wheel equipment and clearance before ordering. Plan the total hub, spacer, quick-release and wheel depth so the controls remain accessible. Installation should follow the manufacturer's instructions and be completed by a qualified installer, with the finished assembly checked for secure mounting and unrestricted steering movement. This E36 version requires a component from the original steering wheel to be transferred to the hub. Confirm the three small mounting holes have a 32.5 mm centre spacing. An airbag-equipped vehicle application does not mean the replacement steering wheel retains the original airbag.
